maui wowie weed butter

ok, so on thursday my buddy bought a decent sized jar of what the dealer (a well known, good dealer) of maui wowie butter. the shit smelled incredible and the cookies that he made just reeked of weed and the taste was awful (or great, depending on how you look at it). anyway, some guys we knew had made brownies the night before and got ruined, incredibly high for at least 5-7 hours. we made cookies, as i mentioned, a batch with about half the jar and i ate 5 of them. the guys we knew ate less of the weed butter than us, but we didn't feel anything at all. any ideas? the only thing we coudl think of was the brownie vs. cookie difference. neither of us had eaten much of anything that day, so too much food wasnt the case either. no fuckin idea but it was really disappointing

that's what i was thinking at first, but its weird that some guys with the exact same shit got fucked up. us, the dealer and those other guys are all kind of friends so im finding it hard to believe that we got ripped off.
