use macro, take it from 1+ foot away and use zoom, try it with flash on and flash off, see what happens, works real good for me

I have a nice camera but I can't seem to take close up shots well even though my camera has a close shot setting... anyway, thats the top of the first plant we ever grew, it seems pretty small, hopefully its dank, now the waiting game begins. god give me patience!
