Thanks for the all input guys, it really explained alot...I see I have much more to read and learn...i will start now into the ADVANCED GROWERS threads.

I joined the infamous "1st growers club" that produces dis-appointing male plants...I should have started 2 or 3 like I was advised--but room was a premium in my closet so I took a gamble with one and lost.

Only 3 months down the drain..not the end of the world...besides growing indoors in my outdoor water-heater closet at this time of year is much better anyway since it wont get as hot internally, still keep the ambient air temps warmer and humidity naturally higher to proximity to the water tank--in fact it seems to be the ideal location for such a grow room...since the MALE B-52 did quite well inside there with my 1 meter long CFL bulbs (8 of them)..you know those new ones that cover a wider light spectrum..the yelloow and white ones with 40,000 lumens of fairly cool light..a lot coler than those HPS bulbs which get too hot IMHO for contained spaces.

besides all of that, I can still bring it outside to the rear patio for a few hours a day to bask in the glorious winter sun in Souther Californai..which is the best time of the year IMHO...its actually much stronger in the winter down here...PROBABLY THE BEST PLAVCE ON EARTH TO GROW OUTDODRS THIS STUFF...except our soil which is too low in Nitrogen and has too much grey clay desposits..so tomatoes do NOT do well here...that's for NEW JERSEY and the EAST COASTERS...west coast is dry, sunny and too much clay in soil...imagine a sand dune OASIS along the Oceanfront with 300 days of blue sky's and bright sun..you got to love it here.

I was hoping to harvest by Feb 1st..now I have to wait until about Aprtil 15.

I plan to let the FEMINIZED MAYA seeds vegitate at least 2 months to produce max. yeild which in theory is only 350-400 g/m2..about 2/3 of what the B-52 plant is capable of...but its only for myself--so one plant is plenty.

I tossed this MALE away discretely as you boys suggested..no sense in looking at it anymore--too depressing, an I felt bad killing it. But now I learned how to grow it, how to water it and at what rate it like NUTES etc..

[B]is that normal reaction?
