2... steal his bud and feel like shit when you smoke it...

I would never tell him I took it, he doesn't seem to like talking about weed with me thats why I never asked him...

Dude well, personally if it was there i'd take a bud.

But anyhow, usually when I can't get weed or im out, I use that as a cleansing stage to lower my tolerance.

I think your dad is in the wrong here. I'm all up for smoking cannabis. But when you're a parent I think you have to use your discretion, and be responsible.

Trust is hard to get back once it's lost. I would fess up and make restitution in some way. Maybe do some extra chores around the house, or even pay him back with cash if you got a job. I would definately do something though. It's only a gram so I'm pretty sure he's not gonna go ballistic on you. Just be honest and say you were dry and you seen it and in a moment of weakness you took a gram.

Trust me, if you own up to what you did and make it right it's better than him getting all suspicious about where that gram went and who took it.
