unless they are camofluaged very good they are quite noticable and to alot of people probably more noticable than your plants themselves, dont really see how it would help much if at all might even make your plants more likely to get found.

Depending on the terraine... and with a little imagination (like low in the grass, or high in the tree "bark and leaves w/crazy glue") I think you could make one less visable...if not invisable...
But if your parinoid like me you can check the chip "before" you approch and so not walk into a stake-out...(I know thats crazy & rare but I've been busted before) if you knew how much we spent on motion detectors and out door cameras and big heavy (12v) batteries... and then with only 1.5 week battery life.... these (with 30 days on 4D cells) are truly a boon.
bejay... I would really rather know if some kids or an old gieser or say SOME ONE IN UNIFORM stumbled on our grow than not... If you grow in pots you could even have a chance to move a few....not to mention seeing what animals might be munching.... or who might be ripping.....
I would say a good dog and one or two trail cams are standard equipment for out door...
Seems like just last year they were over $250... but for 78 bucks what do you have to loose... 78 bucks???

leo usually has access to some fairly complex video cameras and no need for them to actually stakeout a grow, would say your idea is fine if you can hide the camera well preferbly in areas entering and exiting the grow instead of right on the grow but even then if its low light almost anyone is going to notice the flash.

In the states it's a different game for sure... dangerous one...
I think you can set the flash on or off...
Also are they going to patrol at night???

most are automatic and they do not have a flash on and off but I suppose you could put something over the flash but then if it did happen to take a picture at night you wouldnt be able to see what it was that set it off.
while leo probably wouldnt be around at night and if they are you can assume that they have already found the grow here they usually search for it using helicopters during the day only, they do maintain there cameras if your unlucky enough to have them set up cameras instead of just destroying the plants.
