Holding in hits

like i said before, if you think that smoke has enough thc worth keeping it in for, and you still wanna argue with that ^^^ do your own experiment, get a pipe/tube, have a friend smoke a bowl/joint/blunt w/e inhale and exhale directly into it, then you take the reused hits... dont' smoke anything at all on your own, let your friend do all the hitting... i know it doesn't work becuase me and my brother tried it when we didn't have enough to get us both high....

When I was talking about a shotgun, I was talking about the process of someone taking a hit, then exhaling the smoke into someone's mouth, who inhales. This gets the person inhaling the shotgun high. Does this mean they are only getting 5% THC because 95% of the THC was already absorbed by the first person?

naw man seriously that is the only way my bestfriends gf will smoke and she gets fuckin baked no joke. i think we should just drop it because people are just gonna stand their ground on this issue. lets just smoke some bud, some of us will hold it in longer than others, regardless we will still all get high:smokin:

if you are really that keen on holding in hits, take your hit hold it for like 5 sec or 3 or w/e, blow it out, then take a big breath of air and hold it for a while. there you go

I just thought of something. THC may be absorbed instantly but that doesn't mean that all the other cannabinoids are also. So maybe the people who get shotguns or hold their hits in longer get more cannabinoids which is why they get higher. I still won't hold in my hits though because I can always just smoke more instead of coating my lungs with tar and saving some money.

I believe that the thc gets absorbed right away, and that makes sense. But than why does hot boxing a car get you so much higher if there isn't any Thc left in the smoke?

Possibly a placebo because your smelling it, so you automatically think your smoking it... Dunno, but i guess you cant argue with science.

actually dont take science as fact. imo, time has only proven that science is usually wrong. they get some stuff right but remember that science is all theories

when i first started smoking way back in the day, the guys that introduced it to me told me to take a hit or two and pass (the pipe then, phx now hah) but they told me to hold it in and try not to exhale until the piece comes back to me. now that was a kinda cool learning tool and i thought that holding in your hits was the way to go...but maybe not that long. now a days when i puff puff pass, i take the hit, take another little breath of air in...hooooold it in for about 3 seconds and then exhale. i figure anymore than that is just smoke irriatating my insides. so go along and hold it in but i dont know if it will get you much but coughing more often. just remember to take that extra breath in after the initial hit because i think thats important to really hold your hit in your lungs good and tight and less more about how long you hold it in.
