im not at all a mean person but it was on the table and she just took it, i was in shock (a little) so i didnt do anything at first and my jaw was on the ground

dude!!! my school is the exact same fuckin way. hick town, bullshit rules, even people dippin in class. lol. at my school, teachers tell you to give them something, (i.e. cell phone, mag, etc...) you tell them to go to hell... i guess its about pride, showing that whats your is yours, and they can guess again if they think they can steal it.

I'm also old enough to be your grandmother. I've toked for 40 years. I would have taken the magazine also. (May have read it later, though. lol) It was inappropriate. School is like a business place. (In fact, school seems to be basic training for how to behave on the job.) You do not bring sex mags, like Hustler, or any magazine based on an illegal activity to work. To do so is in very bad taste and could get you fired. I hope that you can learn this lesson in discretion.

Incidentally, when I was a kid, I learned that as a "mousy" little girl, I could get away with a lot more, than my "bad-ass" brother! Mom and the school teachers, both, kept a close eye on him and he could hardly get away with anything. At the same time, I got to "spend the night with friends"- in other words, go out smoking pot and dropping acid in the desert! LOL You know, you've already blown it. If they didn't before, they have you marked as a toker. If there is a next time, claim you found it on the way to school and were just curious. Keep it in your back pack, if you MUST take it to school! You can live for a few hours without looking at the sacred herb!- Granny Storm Crow :stoned:

Ya know, I feel bad sometimes saying things I say. BUT, I only say them because I have already lived the situation. kwim?

HighTimes is like a Bible in a sense, to some of us, but in this day and age, it doesn't belong in school. Monday-Friday School, Saturday School or Sunday School. I know it sucks and you feel that some freedom has been taken away and good money was spent and gone to waste. BUT, THESE DAYS you guys can't bring almost ANYTHING to school.
In my day, we would have and did bring highTimes to school and never had a problem. Infact, we were allowed to read them if we wanted to. We also brought our pot to school in our purses or in the cars glove compartment.
Back then tho, there was nobody bringing knives and guns to school either.
Heck we even smoked weed during outdoor PE and the teacher knew and didn't care as long as we showed for his class. One teacher smoked with us outside of school hours. My friend married him too. lol
THINGS HAVE CHANGED AND NOT FOR THE BETTER IN MY OPINION.

School used to be a blast. I had a great time and got decent grades. Most of you guys must dread it now. That sucks and I really am sorry for you all.
