he still hasn't said whether or not reading/having magazines in class is against school policy... just because it isn't illegal to read it on your own time doesn't mean (if it is school policy) you have the right to break school policy and read it in school...

school policy isnt above the law. even if it was against the rules they have no right to steal his personal property. she should have just told him to put it away.

darkside, its NOT stealing, confiscation of a magazine is okay, teachers are well within their rights to do it, im sure if he asked for the magazine back after school hed get it back, anyway how much does a high times cost, if its under $15 who cares, just get a new one
