Bertuzzi was in the local news of my city last year when he wanted to put up a fence around his house that was higher than the bylaws allowed. Money talks, I guess, cause he got his high fence. He probably did have a lot of people bugging him while he was on suspension, though, so maybe he needed it.

The incident did hurt his career, no question. He is not the same player he was before. But I don't hate him. He just made a very bad mistake and he is paying for it.

I mean, look at Dany Heatley. He killed Dan Snyder and I thought his punishment was not as harsh as Bertuzzi's. Granted his accident was off ice but it no less of an idiotic thing to do.
