This might not make much sense because I'm not...so sober so follow along closely to what I'm trying to get across. I'm trying to get some discussion..

The most common way of using marijuana is smoking. Smoking is also the most expedient way to get the THC and other chemicals into the bloodstream. When the smoke from marijuana is inhaled, the THC goes directly to the lungs. Your lungs are lined with millions of alveoli, the tiny air sacs where gas exchange occurs. These alveoli have an enormous surface area -- 90 times greater than that of your skin -- so they make it easy for THC and other compounds to enter the body. The smoke is absorbed by the lungs just seconds after inhaling.

Ok breathing air might be the primary use for our lungs but I'm wondering..why is it that it is possible for us to make fire? I mean back then I'm sure they struck some sticks together and made fire, fire burning + dried cannabis + inhale = high. So why is it that we were given cannabis and given the ability to make fire and make devices for us to smoke out of, and why is it that smoking works if it wasn't intended for us to do?

its all about the society your a part of, for example, for me to kill a person is a horrible thign which i hope never to do, but there are some people who can kill without thinking twice about it, this is a way off example...

with weed, most people think of it as a harsh drug untill they actually do it, then they see it differently, (i am pretty stoned right now so dont blame me if this dont make no sense)

makes perfect sense. I used to think pot was the devil, then i tried it and realized alcohol is 100x worse/ potientially life ruining. I read about drunk driver accidents all the time, not once have i heard someone wraping a car around a tree or through someones house while high.
