LST'ing tall Sativas?

I was wondering if you had a Sativa plant that is known to get about...say 10 ft..would lsting help keep the plant small? And how effective would it be?

Don't see why not man. You might end up with a 10 foot wide sativa instead of a 10 foot tall one though lol.

anything is possible, take for instance those little ficus trees at wal-mart or home-depot that are all braided up w/a golf ball in the middle.

yeh i guess you could, lol why not just tie it horizontally along the fence? that would be cool as fuck if you got it right...
