Just keep it moist. The seeds should be ok. When they sprout use a spoon to gently scoop them out and plant them separately in small regular pots. Clean out your tray and just set the pot in the tray. This way you can utilize flood and drain, drip feed, or water by hand from the top.
Perp Reviewed by Perp on . Seedlings in. Help please. So, this is the dilema. I have a 4x4 tray filled about 2 inches with vermiculite and perlite. I know bad idea. Big mess. I implanted 8 seedlings into my tray 48 hrs ago and they still haven't sprouted. The ambient temperature has been at least 75 degrees, but today I put in a plug in heater next to it to raise the surrounding temp. Unfortunately, when I touch the mixture in the tray, it seems kind of cold. Is this a problem? I realize I screwed up by trying to do this without Rating: 5
