Tobacco... is it inevitable?

Hey guys..

I havent been smoking weed long atall.. but the main concern i have with it right now.. isnt the weed itself.. but all the tobacco im smoking rolled with it..

ive been wondering.. does anyone know how long it takes before you become fully addicted to tobacco.. i havent totally thought it through yet.. but it is something i want to avoid..

does anyone have any advice.. any info.. or some alternatives.. anything would be appreciated :thumbsup:

It is different for everyone. I have gone through phases here and there where I take drags from people(this has been going on a few years)....and I have never even come close to being addicted. I think therefore I just never will....
Odd though right? Everyone always told me I was going to get addicted...but I just never did. Everyone around me is severly addicted.

Most people say it took them about a year before they were fully addicted.

I don't know why I don't get addicted...

Well, I just using that as an example..it obviously varys. Sometimes I'll go months then buy a pack for the weekend. This has been going on for 6ish years so go figure. Plus, when I'm not drinking or something, I hate the smell of the smoke, and it tastes Nasty.

I use to not say it so I wouldn't 'jinx' myself, but its been so long that I do say it...I won't become addicted...ever.

Yeah....there was a little period of time where I just took a drag of a cigarette everytime I was with someone who lit on up...and they always gave me drags or shared their cigarette with me and just said to me "I don't feel bad giving you drags because I know your just one of those people that can do that and not get addicted.."....always compared me to a friend of hers.

She was so right on...I hardly ever take drags when I am sober anymore(unless someone has a clove...I see them so rarely, but I like them even though they're so bad...)...but yeah every once in awhile now when I am super drunk I will take a drag.

I bought myself one pack of sweet dreams, first pack I ever bought myself. I smoked maybe half of one...and then they just sat in my window sill for soo long. I would always give them to people when they were super desperate, because all the smokers I know thought they were nasty. I think I ended up throwing those away.

I just hate that nasty after taste and how they make my fingers smell. I will never get that.

why would you ever poision your herb with something like tobbaco.. or if you're taking it from "tobacco cigarettes" like marlboro its only paper dipped in nicotine and other caustic chemicles really.

I totally agree...even when I'm drunk and have a few halls, I have to wash my hands after lol, and as for the after-taste...it doesn't mix good with beer so I usually have to hit up one of my female friends for a sip of their malt beverage hah.

The taste and smell alone keep me from being addicted...its just impossble.

the way this thread is going like,,, bias to non addictive could not be farther from reality... tobacco is probably the most addictive substance known to man...

well umm

ive been first smoking jays with tobacco in it (i still do)
then i started smoking cigarettes
its been like 1yr 1/2-2yrs now
and i am not addicted at all, i can stop for weeks
and i still get a slight tobacco buzz

i dont mean that you shouldn't be aware of that
its just that i dont think you're gonna get addicted to it if you only put some in your jays

im addicted ill admit it but i wish i could quit i stopped once for 3 years and then went back i had an urge to smoke again and im addicted again i hate it but i like the feeling it sux but then i love it its a strange relationship i have for cigs

Cannabis is more addicting to me than Tobacco. Just to have an idea.

cannabis is NOT addicting. Just because you want to smoke it when you don't have it doesn't mean you're addicted. Just means you like it a lot:smokin:
Now..if you go a day or two without marijuana and start twitching and become quite irritable..than i'd agree and say you're addicted.

When I don't have weed I become overly talkative and annoying.

Even I annoy myself....:stoned:
I just keep hearin.."SOMEBODY GET THIS GIRL SOME WEED!"
