Hey guys since thc is put on the plants to protect it from the heat is it the hotter I get it the more thc thats going to be produced. What is the safest temps I could have it at with out causeing any problems?

You'd have a better chance of getting more THC from the absence of pollen but light does help improve yield. It all depends on what light you're using and how much the plants can take. Just place your hand or a thermometer at the top of the plants and keep a fan or 2 blowing to keep the heat from being too disturbing at close distances.

It's my understanding that it is UV light that increases trichome production, not just heat.

Well, whether it works or not is debateable. It probably won't give you any noticeable increases, but you do it during the day if you wanna try.

Thanks for the info guys. My friend and I are having a debate. He wants it hella hot in there with no fresh air coming in and no hot air exausting out. He wants it about 85-90 and I want it to be around 70-80. Hes telling me that the hotter it is the more thc its going to produce. Right now my partner turned the exausht fan off so that being off the intake doesnt have much air coming out of it like it does when the fan is on. By having the exaust fan off its leaving the stail air in there and not bringing fresh air in, I think thats a problem. Whwn the exausht fan is on the room is about 65 degrees. I know it might be a little cold, but not freezing. The outside temp here at night when my light is on is about 30 degrees so the fresh air coming in is a little cold. I want to put the exausht fan ON a timer to come on every hour for twenty minutes while the lights are on to keep it at a decent temp and bring fresh air in every so often instead of not at all. What do you guys think about this????????????????????
