Absolutely rediculous and it does not matter anyways. Humanity is a speck of dust in the grand picture and we have no meaning to the universe.
Our civilzation is doomed and there is nothing anyone can ever do about it. We will become extinct just like the dinosaurs did and it just won't matter. Life somewhere else in the universe does not matter, you will never see it. You are just an insignificant human being and make no difference anywhere, so just go find your bowl and light up.
