Back on topic- I'm a mom and there are two levels of "knowing" something about your kid that you really don't want to know. The first level is -you know he is smoking (smell, red eyes) but you have no physical proof (a baggie full, a bong) and the confrontation isn't worth it to hassle as long as the kid is discreet. THAT is the key- don't blow it by being too bold! As a "mouse", I was alway able to get away with way more stuff than my "bad-ass" brother! The second level is where Mom has the physical proof (baby-boy calling from jail, a baggie full, etc). When this happens, moms are expected and have been raised to do the "right" thing- explode! So keep it at level one- get a vaporizer to get rid of the smell (healthier, too). Don't leave your stash and bongs out. Keep your grades up. Don't smoke in risky places. Tell Mom you love her. --Granny Storm Crow
