I think it is a legit argument to make. If his folks say smoking is terrible and it will ruin your life, but oh yeah your father smokes, your argument goes right out the window.
however, we dont know how much his dad smokes... he could be a weekender kinda guy. in that case if you smoke your ass off, your definately going to be smoking heavily and spend a large portion of your week high.

if your grades start to slip or you start to fuck up then they are right. however if you can keep your grades up and stay out of trouble then your arguement is still valid and stands a chance at being considered..... but then again, iof you cant keep your grades up and your not trying and get in trouble alot, then saying, "but dad does it" doesnt hold much weight...

if you get what i mean, i dont mean to accuse you of anything but you need to know your options, and need to know what situation you are in, and what you have that you can use to defend your situation.
