Alyson Reviewed by Alyson on . I am so disappointed seeing my girls turn into boys This hermaphrodite thing is driving me crazy. I have a plant that's a girl, then she's a boy. I don't have a problem with sex switching in people. Hell, I'm trans myself. But, damn! To lose all those hours growing and nurturing only to start all over again. From what I've read any kind of stress can trigger this: light, transplanting. I guess the only way to insure your girls stay girls is to be very, very careful not to startle the little darlings.
