what on earth would you want a digi scale for??!!

What's wrong with a digi scale? You get a decent one to check if it weighs right, simply place a nickel coin on the pad, and if it weighs to 10grams, it works fine. They work great!

I press the 'on' button and all I see are hhhhhh. Now, I checked the readers manual and NOTHING mentions hhhhh as a problem. The instructions say, press the 'on' button and hold on for 1 second to reset scale to zero. I can't even do that because as soon as I turn it on, it goes to hhhhhh and just stays there, so basically all I can do is turn it on and see HHHHH and turn it off. Any clue what can solve this? Or a dollar bill weighs a gram. Mine came with a couple weights to calibrate it.
