I just cant see it happening ,in fact ive given up hoping to be honest..With the smoking bans and all the health nut shit going on these days, i just can see it. Sure cigs are going up by the month its already 6,50 a pack now there talkin about an extra 2,50 a pack. i KNOW CIGS ANT THE SAME BUT, the point is smoking is really the big evil most plp wont see any difference in having to inhale ur ganja or ur baccy...in fact they probly rather ur baccie..lol idiots.

Well cheers for your opinions anyway folks. I think one of the main reasons it has so many problems is because those organising it have very little experience with planning this kind of event but with sufficiant practice who knows? I know the government isn't going to legalise it because of J-Day but I feel it's important to protest in any way, big or small, about our backwards drug laws. TBH I think if you only bring enough for 2 or 3 joints I doubt the gards would do more than confiscate it anyway but I respect that many of you have garden projects that would land you in hot water if discovered so obviously you wouldn't wish to draw attention to yourselves! Or maybe you're all being paranoid because you smoke too much lol!! Joking by the way.
On a more personal note, it's good to see another republican stoner! I thought I was the only one!

In my opinion "JDay" should be renamed to JokeDay...
Because of the simple fact that it serves no useful purpose other
than to attract a handful of mostly kids,, or people that are "underage"

and maybe a tiny column in one or two newspapers. . . .

People in this country need to realise that there are not going to be
any changes in the near future in regard to our governments stance
on cannabis and drugs in general. . . .

Legalisation is the direction we would all like to be heading in,, but as was
said in this thread already,, Don't hold your breath. . . .
