The female will then grow false seed pods, and normally, if the male pollen and touched the pistilles seeds would grow in these. But because you havnt pollenated the female, it'll concentrate on THc production as well as bud or flase seed pod production. When the plant is pollenated it still produces THC, but not as much because it's focusing on the seeds. Also, if you do seed a plant and want viable seeds you'd harvest much later than if you was going to smoke. They need to mature.
All in all, unless you want a seed harvest, you dont want males. You can make minute amounts of hash form them, but it's a hard drawn out process and i dont think it's worth it at all.
JUst kill them and get rid of them, and concentrate on your females, they're the plants that'll give you something smokeable.LIP Reviewed by LIP on . male plants ok so let me get this straight. are male plants totally usless? or do they still contain thc? the difference is that males dont flower and females do right? if i grow a male will i be able to at least get a little bit out of it?
