I read a comment of a previous thred that Mylar can be bought at walmart, in the form of thoes shiney emergency blankets for under 2 dollars. Is this accurate? are thoes emergency blankets nothing more than mylar?

Yes that is absolutely true. Find them in the camping section/sporting good section.

Lol, yah, that is mylar. The reason the other kind you get a grow shops is more expensive is it is thicker, the emergency blanket kind tears easily, but honestly, who cares. 10 bucks and you could line your whole house in mylar.

You can order those blankets online for like a buck each... when you are going to hanmg them up, reinforce the edges with duct tape so they don't tear, because you'll need to stretch them a bit to get the folds out.

I use those blankets all the time. They must think that I am some outdoor camping fanatic. Also, they are about 4x5 so they do cover allot of area.

Mylar is also available in the stationary gift wrap section by the folded sheets an by the roll guys, lol, cheap cheap pass the weed!
