Anyways, i have to take a drug test, most likely today and its been just over 4 weeks since i last smoked. 29 days to be exact. I'm not fat at all so i should be ok right? I've taken a test before but i knew i would be clean cuz it had been like 10 or 11 weeks since i smoked. Anyways, i'm sure i'll pass t his one but a little reassurance always helps. thanks for any input.

How much had you been smoking, how often, how long, quality, etc? Go back about 2-3 months before the 29 days please.

Thanks for being the only one to give me any type of input. Anyway, i already took the test a few hours ago so its whatever. I'm pretty sure that i'll be alright. The last time i smoked was oct. 30th and it wasn't even half a bowl. But anyways, i smoked nearly everyday for a few years before i moved here and then i stopped for 10 weeks and passed a pre-employment test. Then i started smoking again like a month into my job. I've probably smoked a little over a half oz in the past 3 months which isn't much at all.(At least not to me) Anyways, i only smoked a quarter(7 grams) throughtout a 2 week period since i tried to preserve it, so i was smoking about an average of 0.5 grams a day i guess, and before that, i hadn't smoked in 3 weeks. Anyways the lady at the clinic told me that it'll take 48 hours to get the results, which kinda sucks cuz the first place i ever did it at, had the results the same day.
I also drank alot of water yesterday and today so i pissed alot before i even went there, i only did it to make me feel a little more at ease even though i think i'll be ok. Anyways i'll post the results whenever i hear from them.

Oh i see you posted also, well thanks for the info, i'm pretty sure i'll be ok, i thought i'd be ok after i hit the 3 week mark which is when i actually started to look for another job. But another 8 days on top of that is even better. But honestly what i'm more worried about is that it asked if i've ever been conviced of a crime which i said no to (even though i was busted for marijuana posession and drug paraphalia) so i hope my background check doesn't fuck it up, even though it said being conviced wont eliminate u from employment, but the fact that i lied on the application makes me worried.

Just in case anyone wants to know, i finally got the call today and was told everything was all good. So at least i know 4 weeks is long enough for me to get it all out of my system. Peace!!!!

I'm pretty sure you have to give them written permission before they can a background check.And getting arrested and actually catching a charge are 2 different things so if your still going to court you obviously haven't been convicted yet and so nothing should show up on your check. so hopefully they already did the check and your good.btw I have a friend who runs a HR.dept.and she told me they just put that on the application to scare people and they don't even check because it cost money and companies don't want to spend it.And spending money is taboo for companies
