workin at a headshop?

has anyone here ever worked at one before? and does it pay well? cuz im currently unemplyed, still gotta sign on as unemployed and my dad sed if i go down to some office that they'll find a job for me, but i know this pretty sweet headshop and i told him i wanna work at a headshop but i dunno if they'll have any full time jobs instead of part time..also the pay wud have to be good cuz im movin out and gettin a flat/apartment with someone after christmas. but the idea of sittin in a shop full of bongs sellin shit to stoned people sounds like fun

Well my mate works in a headshop, sells weed out of it too. He does well on money with all the weed he sells. Dont know what they pays like but he's been there for years, and loves it. This headshop sells the lot, bongs, pipes, vapes, bubblers, pipes, bowls, spare stems, steam rollers, ready made gravity bongs, zongs, RooR, granders, pollen presses, weed flags, air rifles, bb guns, legal extacy shit, legal herbs [no one buys that crap] and vibrators, paddles [ROFL] those mini motor bikes papers, lighters rolling machines, this head shop is one of the best.

the headshop im thinkin of isnt anythin special.. its pretty small.. few decent bongs and pipes,, dildo's.. drinkin games jelwery lava lamps ect... but i know a really big headshop in leister, i'd have to catch a bus if i worked there but the bongs n shit they have there are fuckin class man

and another Q.. do you have to be 18 to work in a headshop? i live in england and its 16 to smoke legally here but i dont know if theres an age to work in a headshop or if its above 16

I worked at a head shop- for free! The "fringe benefits" made it well worth it! It was quite a scene at the Warlock Shop after hours! You could tell the time by the cops. There was a 10 pm curfew for minors. I would go through the two room shop at 10 til 10 and announce "The cops will be here in the next 10 minutes, anyone holding or under 18 should leave now!" About 1/2 the crowd would leave. Met my husband there, too. Helped organize the "Hippie clean-ups" and the "Love-ins". It was a good time!- Granny

a guy working at a headshop here said they get paid minimum wage. they also just sit around most of the time so what can you expect

they dont make much money its not about making money its about helping fellow stoners out and just doing something you love trust me. if most of the people that own headshops were in it for the money they would have never started a headshop in the first place. you got a better chance at making good money if you make the pipes yourself i know a headshop that blows all their glass right in the store they sell their stuff for alot of money 200$ bongs. it probably costs less than 50$ to make the bongs.
