    forced hermi..

i dunno if hermi seeds "pop" and then again all u will grow is hermi plants which i dunno why u would want, its ussually done by heat stress, the only thing stressing your plants with light will do is destroy your grow cycle, your plant is now flowering.. and to vegg it again will take atleast 2 weeks to convert back. And 3 weeks is to imature to flower. A timer is cheap and easy to find, and i think is abselutly neccessary, where did u find the info on light stressing to hermi a plant?

    forced hermi..

well in reality i never found any info on it.. but from reading threads around here when someones plant turns hermi, they get the benifit of feminized seeds.. is this totally wrong?i mean in these posts ive heard replies liek oh well at leats ull get a batch of fem seeds.. and ive heard that if u stress a plant too much it will go hermi.. so i figured id put two and two together and make fem seed with my messed up lil plant lol..and yah a timer wouldent be hard to get .. i just dident bother.. laziness i guess.. oh well its just bagseed and im waiting on a few clones anyway.. oh and i do have a timer on my flower box, just ta let cha know

    forced hermi..

when someone posts that they have a hermie they should not use it for pollen as they often do not no if it was a true female to begin with and have no idea if it was stress induced or not so the seed from using the pollen could be female, hermie or male.
while there is different methods of creating feminized seed and have read about using light cycle to stress the plant or using acid to get a true female plant to produce male flowers, if its a very stable plant wouldnt expect the light cycle method to work as some plants do not hermie very easily and varying the light cycle may not cause any male flowers to be produced.
here is a couple of links below that you may want to read if you are going to try to produce feminzed seed but even the seed breeders cannot always produce feminized seed without passing on some hermie traits, probably due to how stable the strain was to begin with. and you can go to dutch passions website and read about there feminized seed and how some of them does produce hermies late in flowering which is why alot of experienced growers will not use feminized seed as they want stable plants to produce seedless crops.
havent tried using any of the methods below as I dont really have no use for feminized seeds culling a few males just dont really seem that difficult and once you get a few plants that you really like you have an endless supply of clones and you can keep mother plants for years.

If you force-herm a female you are going to get feminized seeds from her...

they will herm under similar stresses as the mother..

so your best bet is to use seeds from a hermed female that was REALLY DIFFICULT to force-herm.

That way the offspring won't grow nuts on you under normal growing conditions.

Yeah, the whole thing where people freak out about using seeds from a herm is really most applicable when it was a herm that just appeared in a normal crop, where it has those genes that say, "hey, herm easily!".
