Heres a story of bravery, courage, and the will to survive.

I shouldn't have even planted the seed. But I did.

I was young, and stupid.. I had read so much about growing on this site, and had the growing (pun intended) itch to try my luck at growing.

I set up a small growspace in my closet, and thats where I made my mistake.. It was in my parents house, so theres where I crossed the line. Anyway, i planted just one seed i had from my bag. Just one. I had a fan, light, and the in no time, the seedling was sprouting and growing quite well.

For about a month, the plant was in my closet, hidden by a blanket draped over the growing case. it was about a foot tall, and doing perfect... When one day..

I was at work, having a fine day. I had been a little on edge because I knew there was no way I could get away with having that setup in my closet for long, because my Mom periodically will hang up some shirts in there or some other chore.

"Ugghh,,,, (it was my brother) Mom found, your plant.. Just so you know. She's not home, but will be in another hour. You should come home and get rid of it..."

Crash and burn my friends. Crash. And. Burn.

I speed home, to find the plant in a bag near the door. My mom is already there. We have a short argument, and she shockingly leaves it up to me to get rid of it... Is she serious!? Why wouldn't she have ground that up by now?!

Anyway, I tell her I'm going to dispose of it, and leave.

I took it out to a forest a short distance away from my street. And just put the pot down in a small clearing, hoping for the best, but not having much home. Through the next few months I'd periodically check up on it, water it. and so forth.

After 3 months of forest life, the sex was beginning to show... And to my greatest excitement. ... You guessed it. A female! I was extatic!
The temperatures were treading on thin ice (pun intended... again.) The night temperatures produced frost on 3 occasions, yet this plant lived through it all.

When the temperatures were consistantly no higher than 45 degrees F., I took it to an abandoned guest house that my friend owned near my house. Where for 2 months it would sit.

The plant was snapped in half when I went to check on it this time. My friend, who I let in on the secret, had tried to prop it up, and the brittle stem simply snapped the budding plant in half. I was crushed. Though for the next 2 months the bottom would continue to grow.

And it continues to grow today. The temperatures are around 40-30 these days, and some small buds are curing in my possession right now. Though there are weak, small buds. Its what I grew, and it gave me quite a story to tell.

enjoy.
