What part of the US are you in? $65 per 1/8 is a little high for the northeast but not unheard of. In fact I think I would be more than willing to shell out $65 for some of that stuff right about now.
Prices vary so much in the US it makes it's pretty helpful in these kinds of posts to give us a rough idea of where you're talking about.
