Sore throat & still toke remedies?

Bad news as we head into the flu season. I've already have a menacing bug draggin me down and givin me one hell of a sore throat. I use Chloraseptic spray, tastes ok and numbs my throat enough soz I can get a hit down my lungs.
What is your favourite over the counter drugstore remedy that helps when you are inflicted with a nasty cold and sore throat and want to have a good blast on the ol' bong?

COLD FX. It might only be avaliable in Canada but if it is everywhere it is a must! It is pricey but it kicks the shit out of any cold/flu. It is best to take as soon as you feel something coming on. You have to take a lot of pills but it has worked for me everytime. I'm hooked.

I am sick with a cold today too..and I am taking darvocet and smoking pot and it seems to be doin quite well for me.
I feel much better!
..just a little fucked up all at the same time!

But other than that I think dayquil works good too...

this may sound weird but i sucked on a cough drop when i was sick and it helped a good deal while i was smokin

Usually nothing helps with my sore throats while I'm smoking. Although sometimes a couple cough drops will help if my throat isn't hurting too bad.

I just suck it up (literally, I guess.. teehee) and deal with the coughing and pain.

Just ignore it and smoke. Eventually in your session it will go away . Atleast it does for me.
