wow thank god my mom and i always smoked together.
she figured that i was gonna do it anyway so she would rather me do it in the safety of my own home then outside. she is my best smokin' buddie i swear. we sit around the table, pass a j, then fill a few bowls and talk and laugh so much.
i love tokin with my dad in south florida too. he is a rock and roller and we smoke a socket. (after an old man stole our bowl? he went to the tool box, took a wrench socket out, put some choreboy metal sponge in it and smoked. so we sit up late, play guitars laugh and pass the socket. i love my parents.

Terrible advice. Who the fuck volunteers for possible punishment or having your parents look at you like a junkie for the rest of your life. Plenty of people go their entire life without their moms walking in on them jerking off, why is it any different with smoking cannabis.

meh mostly he's right, some may go their whole life not getting caught, but for the most part, everyone gets caught... some way or another, either they find something, or they have their suspicions (for good reason red eyes, laughing, chink eyed, unable to walk straight, eating everything.. ect ect.) they catch you in the act, hear it from other people or you ust give yourself up by accident.... might as well get it over as soon as you can so you can relax about it... these days more and more parents are accepting it... even if they might not agree with it, they know they can't change it... some try, but usually always fail.

guys i just want to let you know from experience that if you're living with your parents, and you're smoking around the house regularly (more than 2-3 times a week) and you still think you'll never be caught, you think you have everything under control, let me tell you, you're living in a dream world. there are many strings attached with marijuana smoking and many are noticeable to parents (smell on you and in your area of smoking, your eyes, leaving things around the house, starting to smoke when you think they're asleep and they're not).

The point is, we ALL get caught. the sooner you can come to accept and expect it, the stronger and better prepared you can make your argument when they actually do walk in on you smoking or call you out on it.


a parent who was previously against cannabis use goes through these stages:
extreme anger
extreme disappointment
sadness
acceptance
change of perception on the drug

you need to let the first 3 blow over (you can literally watch your parents move through these stages and see the transitions visually) then when you think your parents have calmed down, start your argument on cannabis use. don't try convincing them in the other stages, it's worthless.
