mixing red and blue spectrum floros

i thought using the 3000k plus switching to the 12/12 light cycle kicked it into flowering mode?

Im think its more about how much light its getting that kicks it into floweringmode.

Different colour temps are used more or less by a plant at specific times in their cycles.

250-3000k Flower

6500K-6700K Veg

A growshop owner told me that combining the two just meant you are matching the natural sunlight better. Weather it will give you more or less bud, Or better foliage and veg growth I have no idea.
