When should I start flowering??

hey ...I saw on Mythbusters that they subjected plants-snow peas- to different kinds of music (classical, heavy metal, and some other kinds? can't remember) and different kinds of speaking ('nice' talk and 'mean' talk) on a radio/tape recorder. The plants that seemed to do the best were the ones that had heavy metal playing- believe it or not.

This is the same principle as blowing air on your plants. Sonic waves hit your plants and stimulate stem thickness and growth. Heavy metal and rock are usually loudest and lowest frequencies so therefore makes plants grow better.
No magic here.

Perp Reviewed by Perp on 12-03-2006. When should I start flowering?? I've had a few posts in the past about my 1st grow - I think all the help has really worked. My plant is about 12" tall (maybe a little taller). I'm growing in a closet where my plant can be about 3' tall at the max. I've heard that plants double or triple in size during flowering and I'm wondering if I should change to 12/12 in order to induce flowering or if I should let these guys go a little longer to maximize production.
