When should I start flowering??

Hey, do the nodes need to start alternating before he starts to flower???

NO they do not need to start alternating before you put the plant into 12/12..

Garden Knowm Reviewed by Garden Knowm on 11-29-2006. When should I start flowering?? I've had a few posts in the past about my 1st grow - I think all the help has really worked. My plant is about 12" tall (maybe a little taller). I'm growing in a closet where my plant can be about 3' tall at the max. I've heard that plants double or triple in size during flowering and I'm wondering if I should change to 12/12 in order to induce flowering or if I should let these guys go a little longer to maximize production.
