I've posted this in a few other threads, but I think it deserves its own. I want to hear the opinions about this video from more level-headed Christians. What do you guys think about this kind of "brainwashing?" Basically, just putting ideals into children's heads before they're old enough to think for themselves. They accept it without question because their parents tell them it's true from a very young age. What do you think of the 5 year old kid saying he got saved when he was 5 because he "just wanted more out of life." More of out life??? You were 5 years old and YOU PROBABLY STILL BELIEVE IN SANTA CLAUSE!!! If anyone agrees with the video, please give me a good reason why.

this kind of shit makes me want to punch babies. disgusting, twisted, motherfuckers. the kid was 5. he couldnt even yet comprehend what life was. this is truly brainwashing in its most obvious form. these kids will never have "their own" voice. they will only have their parents' voices.

Well this makes me hate Christianity a little bit more. It doesn’t surprise me much.

Its just another example of how many Christians are religious from brainwashing.

And asking kids if they would give their lives for jesus. Now that’s fucking sick.
And the clearly scripted responses the kids give.

I wonder if anyone on here defends this activity

its just shocking to see this extremely young, and extremely impressionable kids bawling because of this activity. i'm going to be interested in this movie, just to gain more information on what its all about... as well as to help me sway my beliefs obviously away from organized religion even more...

its a wicked world we live in.

I didn't even need to watch the thing, lol! Christianity is bad about the brainwashing, and those doing it are often victims themselves. This kind of thing can get a very strong hold on a person, much less a kid who looks entirely up to their parents for guidence. I think it's sad when parents push their children into their own belief systems w/o even considering the consequences. 5 years old it too young, as is 10, and 15, and even 18, imo.

I think the best a parent can do is teach the kiddies to respect others. No need for the religious bs until they start looking for answers, and if they need no answers, then great because religion won't give them anything solid. Maybe a hope of an afterlife, or an explanation of what happened to grandad when he never woke up, but this is just to help comfort the kid, right?

I remember when I was young; I thought about death all the time, but my family happened to be a different breed of Christian, lol! No after life, grandad's just sleeping, hon...

It's comforting to not think about a hell, or even a heaven where you live forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever...(Geesh!) If this is true, then the afterlife best have great intermissions. Am
I rambling? Yes, I'll shut up now, lol!

    Back to OP:

No child should be subjected to Jesus camp, nor should any parent EVER consider something like that, imo! The psychiatric bills would weigh heavier than hell itself...

I've seen some similar newsreports in Time magazine of parents in Saudi Arabia doing that to their children only with Muhammed and Islam as the focal point. And Time also reported how those kids are taught to HATE America. Not that I agree with any of it.

What's so funny about peace, love, and understanding...

YES I SUPPORT IT AND DEFEND IT these kids need structure in their lives, they need to be taught what is true before they are tempted by evil to NOT believe! EVERY child should go to jesus camp, starting as young as 3! it's just not smart to not send them....

ok i'm completely bullshitting lol... hell no i don't agree with it, i don't need to watch the video to know, no kid should be subjected to it.... i dont' think any kid shoudl be subjected to religion period... if they want to believe, fine let them believe when they're old enough to even understand what they're believing in... chances are if candy is still the world to you, you're no where near even capable of understanding what you're 'believing' therefore you're believing for the wrong reasons. not because you feel a void in your life you need filled that only a supperior being can fill, not because you need more meaning out of life then just "we're here, we inhabit this planet and that's all there is to it" they're 'believing' just because they're told to do so.... which like i said, is believing for all the wrong reasons... later in life these are the same people that pass down what they went through and only continue to believe for fear of being condemned to hell and disappointing their family..
