Why are my results so varied?

I ain't a pro or anything dude but I had the same problem too first starting out,and found if I used alot of extra perlite in my mix I found myself watering a little sooner each watering but at the same time I wasn't drowing my pot's....for example when watering your pot everytime you have to let the water run right through,therefore for the first couple of days the soil will be super wet until the plant suck's the water out of the soil and natural evaporation with the fans and stuff but you still have those first couple of days were the soil is soaked heavy,anyhow try a fast run of mixture for medium,a little extra work but less yellowing in the long run,also going heavy with perlite in the mix will promote heavy root development therefore the plant with a bigger root base can take alot more stress that you throw at her.with a bigger root system the plant can handle heat better! over watering better! gives a better overall chance of allowing time for nute corrections,grows faster,stronger,therefore protects the plant even better when going up agaist human error lol........for example I viewed the pics of your plants and I am also from seed to 4 week's just under flourecent lights and I doubled the size easly>? not making a claim to fame or anything friend lol,but when I seen your plants from a month of age I was kinda surprised? no offence by the way!

1st week from seed under 4000 lumen's of flourecent lights full spectrum

14 teen days from seed! lumens increased to about 7000

3rd week 21 days from seed still flourecents

I don't have pics done at 4 weeks but let me say they doubled in size from 3rd week.
