You could have eaten the same meal and gotten sick or food poisoning from it.

coincidence ?
A lot of people throw up on a Firday or Sat. night.
Who knows, maybe you're allergic to beer? There are people out there who are, maybe you are too?
Who knows, but barfing after 2 beers is not due to excess, so I'm guessing your body is allergic to something in the brew. Possibly the yeast, or hops perhaps. Either way, don't drink it again until you know for sure.
Or yeah, maybe it was something you ate. A lot of junk food, like fatty, oily foods like chips, or deep fried foods like fries or wings, with the mix of beer, can make one feel very queezy.

i'd say it's likely yal both ate bad food... of course, in his sleep he could heard you puking, alot of people gag, or even puke when they hear other people doing it, just like yawning... you could both be coming down with the flu/other virus.... there are numerous reasons why you'd both be puking... and i don't find it completely impossible that w/e the culprit is that it took roughly the same time to make the two of you naseaus... however if you didn't eat the same thing, or didn't come into contact with each other or the same people (i.e. you didn't give each other w/e illness it could be or you both weren't around whoever gave it to you, i.e. only one ofyou was around a sick person) then i'd say he probably heard you puking, then he needed to...
any other symptoms?

Dude I was with you, you had like no beer (we just needed to empty cans because we had no piece for the chronic and no papes). You guys are both sick.
