HEEELLPPP!!!

if anyone out there knows anythign about computers i need your help, ok so ive got this icon on my desktop that wont delete. i cant move it to the recycle bin, when i right click the menu only has open with, and move to. no properties no rename no nothing, and it wont move to any files its stuck on my desktop how do i remove it!!

Restarting should help. Lemme guess its something like "is in use" or "access denied". A lot of times you will have to just wait till you restart. Although I do believe there is some trick, or a program to help with that but I don't know.

Try a restart first though.

this icon wouldn't happen to be porn, or supposed to be porn would it? i remember coming across a couple of files that just won't go away... then i went to the task manager, seems these files opened up some process (other then a media player, something i still don't even know what it was/did)

i had to end the process manually before it'd let me get rid of it.. press crtl+alt+del go to processes and end every process that says owner (or if you actually customized anything on your comp it might say somethign else, your name maybe) EXCEPT explorer.exe (or whatever browser your comp runs) and taskmgr.exe, then try to delete it again.

haha yes it was porn lolololol good guess, i wish i wouldve read this before i called microsoft lol. and i think the lady on the phone knew it was porn too cuz she was like wat kindve file is it and i was like...ummm a video...and she was like ok how did it get there and i was like uuummm....i downloaded it....haha i dunno it was an akward silence lol, but yea microsofts solution now has me completely recovering my partition. so yea oops
