Yeah that doesent look like the herer I get at all. The herer I see is definetely more of a light lime green with tons of crystals rather than dark green with orange hairs all over it.

But hey, theres no way of actually knowing a strain and these are all just names we give them. Plus I think the way its grown always has something to do with the way it comes out.

    Dudes..

    wtf?

Last time I grew white widow, I had two plants, and they didn't look the same at all.. I harvested at different times..

That orange "hairs" Go darker from day to day. Different picking times could be all..

So, don't be all smart and say, "that doesn't LOOK like Jack Herer" "I've smoked so much Jack Herer, and I know what it looks like, even what grow conditions it had"

I don't know IntrepidS, I used to only smoke Jack Herrer.

I have a connec that I can get really nice bud from(like afghani, Fruity Pebbles, White Rhino among others) for 10 a g, he went through like a two month phase of only selling Jack. It was nice.

But yeah man, check it out, what Intrepid posted was Jack Herrer. If it looks like that then buy it. If it's really Jack then you just got hooked up.

Yea I know there's different conditions and different harvesting times which affect the way the buds look and I know that at the end of flowering every day matters. That picturre just doesn't look like Jack, that's all I'm saying. I'm not looking to gain anything by saying that. Just wanted to show the original poster what it looks like.

A dealer can label his buds any way he wants, so the chances of you getting the actual Jack Herer, are slim. Just be cautious as dealers say anything to move their product.

Jack Herer is an 80% sativa if I remeber right. It is very potent and has won several cannabis cup awards. The buds are usually a bright lime green, but each grow varies and will look different, so don't go by color.

I'm growing a Jack Herer cross right now and it is going freakin crazy! I started flowering when it was maybe 6-8inches in height, and the bugger has to be about 3ft now. It has another month or so until it's done, but I have never had a plant grow out of control like that for me. I had to extend my cab height by another 1.5ft, or it would have been too tall.

Anyways, it's a good smoke if it's the real deal.

Well, so far everyone that chimed in has agreed that it looks differently than the bud in the first pic you posted.. maybe it was just the lighting in the pic, but the point is for the original poster to be able to identify what Herer looks like. So you can see where we are all coming from so far.

Around here herer isnt too rare, it definetely comes up.. its a popular seed to order these days with online seed banks and its highly praised. Its usually on the front pages of em and listed as best sellers.
