    Nice looking plant!

I wasn't sure if I should grab blackstrap molasses, or even what that meant. I just got the regular cooking molasses. It still has Fe, Mg, carbs and other good stuff so I'll use it anyway. What's the best thing to look for in molasses?

I think StinkyAttic and BlueBear recommend the sulfured molasses from what I remember but I'm not sure why. Perhaps the sulfur helps in mold prevention? Here's an article by the 3LB's that is everything you EVER wanted to know about molasses: http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=81681

    Happy Growing!

    Nooo! Unsulfured!!!
Yes you are correct though that sulfur prevents mold... problem is, it can also lock out nutes in your medium, so that's why sulfure fungicides are used as fogs rather than systemics or soil drenches... you're better off using bacillus subtilis as a soil drench anyway, and I think it actually kind of LIKES molasses!

But anyway your grow is hella tight. I'm really impressed! Plants look good, and I like this log. Sorry I've been lurking!

Ok good, glad to hear that! I ended up with some organic unsulfured. I finally found a market that had Blackstrap molasses but it looked like the organic stuff that I got had twice the potassium in it...I'll have to monitor to be sure it's not too much.

Thanks for the comments too Stinky...means a lot to me coming from you.

Thanks bro, looking good over there!!

Ok, you guys asked for it...I feel like I'm taking pics of my first child or something - every day I wanna take new ones!

Girls are thirsty so tonight they get their first molasses cocktail. I'm going to Ph them again just to be sure everything is in range...my Jedi clone in the mother/cloning cab was at like 5 last night and I have no idea how it got so low so fast. I watered it again with some Ph-up at 8.5 and it leveled off the runoff at 6.5 but it shocked me how fast it went south.

I also dosed the two bagseed plants with Promalin a couple of days ago - it will be interesting to watch the experiment. U.G.U. had some promising results in his thread about it, with his treated plants having significantly better yield. Being that Promalin also contains variations of some gibberellic acids, I wanted to experiment on the bagseed plants first.

Pic 1 are Mango, pic 2 is C-99, and Pic 3 is another Mango.

Here are some recent pics of the girls, three weeks into flower. The Mango's and C-99 continue to look good and are starting to show some sugar.

The bagseed plants have really slowed down to a crawl (they were treated with the promalin), no real further bud development, etc....just stagnated. Kinda odd, but I did find the Ph to be high (7) on those two. I was told the promalin worked better with some strains than others... I'll try it again later on another strain.

Sorry for the mediocre pics...was in a hurry.
