Generally speaking, I believe you should test it out of the tap, adjust as needed, get it to the right number, add the nutes, test again, and adjust again. Perhaps someone else can comment on this but I have read this various places and do it myself...
razzapiggy Reviewed by razzapiggy on . ph Hey guys and girls Ive been having a problem with the ph of my water for quite a sometime. I was unable to get a ph checker or ph up/down. I now got all that stuff and my water is ok. Its coming out of the tap at 8 and I bring it down to 6.5 or so and let it sit out for a couple of days to let the chlorine evaporate. Ive watered themthree times since I got the ph right and there still ahving a few problems. The soil I got them in says its good for up to 60 days so I havent added any nutes to Rating: 5
