Splifted Reviewed by Splifted on . A challenge for the techno-geeks This one is for all the computer nerds who believe that everyone else in the world is a moron. I present you with a technological riddle. Below, you will find a description of the equipment involved, the task being performed, and the problems that are occuring. Your mission, should you choose to accept, is to tell me exactly what is causing the problems and what is the solution. Feel free to use google until your fingers fall off and your eyes explode. The only rule is that you cannot ask Rating: 5

A challenge for the techno-geeks
i'm a computer "nerd" if you want to call me that, but i am not into much of the hardware aspect. I code, and that's about all, so i have no idea how to fix your problem. Just want to let you know that not all computer "nerds" know how to weld, and stuff like that, because there are different types. Hardware geeks and software geeks. I think this turned into a flaming/trolling thread, rofl. Just calm the fuck down people, who cares about what someone says on the internet?

I like how this thread still doesnt prove anything. Us nerds can't weld and you can't fix your computer. At least i have no need for welding at this particular moment. You still can't play your damn video games SO HAH.

A challenge for the techno-geeks
You know this is actually getting sad.
You take out your frustration on who you are considering the average computer literate teenager as a "geek" or a "nerd" because you couldn't figure out how to install the outdated video card you just bought for $100 that is worth no more than about $30 online?
If you are so advanced in welding, I dont understand how it took you an hour to get your video card off as you stated in your other thread. It is no more complicated than unscrewing a single phillips head bolt and sliding it out.

I don't get the thread title.. "A challenge for the techno-geeks"
Why?
You can love techno, and be something else than a computer geek..

A challenge for the techno-geeks
Welding & computers...uhm...I fucking hate Bill Gates because Microsoft employs all the cream of the crop ambitious computer engineers[/B]and generate tons of MS products & software, and yet continue to be plagued with ineptitude...I've started out with some " PC user" patient enough to wipe my nose when things on the PC infuriates me, tell me everything will get better and that began my journey into computery literacy.
I have had more system crashes, hardware failures and frustratingly poorly funtioning equipment, (All under the guise of "Yes mister, those things work great, I have 'em at home" and even multiple internet reviews which indicate that the product of interest was largely good.) Been there, done that...all the while I'm upgrading from one PC to another, I have had four so far (one w/ no problem HP notebook...very nice toy!) Some online advice is extremely helpful & some is not.........hey! CityBoy...take that card back and tell that punk its defective and you want a refund, then go to PCWorld.com and look up videocards...the info & articles are top rate and easy to understand. I've been helped more by them that anyother source.
I vaporize only smelly, sticky dank and it must obliterate all my engrams in two hits or I start splitting atoms...

The irony here, and what's really funny about all this, is that I've been outside enjoying my farm and my day. I came inside for a minute and figured I would check out the message boards real quick and see what was going on.
Here I find a bunch of people all angry and puffy over one little post I made, and trying to come up with things to say that they think might hurt my feelings.
I'm going back outside now. Why don't y'all turn off your computers for a while and go get some sunshine? You need to relax. You're wound way too tight.
