See you try to lower the concentration of THC without diluting so much that they catch you when they do validity testing. Most tests use a 50 ng/ml threshold. If you are pissing out 700-1000 ng/ml before dilution passing with dilution will be hard. If you are pissing around 200 ng/ml before dilution then it is quite possible to pass. It isn't that hard to understand if you know what you are talking about. You could dilute your urine enough to pass if you were at the 700-1000 mng/ml levels but you would probably fail validity testing. The later requires less dilution and offers a better chance at passing validity testing.

Pectin is a mild diuretic. Most people who pass using pectin pass because they also drink a lot of fluid with the pectin. So in effect the pectin method is dilution. It doesn't line your stomach period.
