Help please with sexing this plantTake some pollen from it, and use it to make some seeds with your best female.

To do this I use a small, folded piece of stiff paper, and gently tap the underside of those small sacs that are hanging down. You will get a small bit of yellow powder on your paper. Do this to a few small sacs and collect more pollen.

Then take a small, new paint brush. Dab it in your pollen and then gently apply it to your best female. Pick a lower branch and pollinate a couple of buds, depending on how many seeds you want. Turn off your fan before you start doing this to avoid unwanted pollenation. Mark the branch with a piece of tape or something, so you remember its seeded.

This is good way to store your genetics in case of emergency plus you may get an extraordinary female along the way, share with your mates, sell them, etc.

Help please with sexing this plantHi,
Many thanks to you all for the input you have provided me. I think i might try pollenating a bud of one my females.

Could you tell me if you think the male is ready to collect pollen from now?

Help please with sexing this plantCan you see yellow pollen coming off the male? if so, it is ready to pollenate. but it could be that the pollen has already been transfered to all your females, giving you an entirely seeded crop. this is especially likely if you have a fan blowing.

how long has the pollen been visible, if it is visible yet?

Help please with sexing this plantThis is the best female from the bunch. She is about 7 inches tall and 5 weeks old. She has a couple of dying leaves at the bottom, do i leave them as they are or should i trim them off do you think?

So to be a pain but also do you think she would be alright to pollenate a bud on her?

 Thanks guys
