Rectangles are most defiantly not squares.

Definition:

Square: 4 sides of equal length.
Rectangle: 2 long sides of equal length, 2 shorter sides of equal length.

Used to think the same thing till a teacher said otherwise.

Actually, I was wrong, Squares are rectangles.

Really confusing concept, but I got what you meant. It'd be a bitch to count all those though.
