    my opinions on religion.

I consider my self an atheist and i think most religions took the bible the wrong way, i think that the bible is a story used to teach good morals and a standard of living, god represents good and satan represents evil.

if people have nothing to fear like (HELL) than everyone would run around raping and pillaging and the doing whatever...cuse fuck it theres no punishment.

10 commandments are 10 laws pretty much.

plus people need someone too look up to, in times of sadness or thank in times of happyness.

people work hard and live good lives and are rewarded with heaven and the
    sinners go to hell.

its just a book to me.

I can't say I agree. Ton's of people like myself who live without god, without his 10 commandments, lead productive and peacefull lives. When tens of thousands of people go out shopping for the boxing day sales, they're not all refraining from punching each other in the face and stealing their Wii's because the 10 commandments are in their heads. The most powerfull force of morality and restraint is found in the conditioning that we're all indoctrinated with, to conform to our culture's social standards and codes for accetpable behavior. It's genetically incoded in us to have a psychological drive to be accepted into ones society, and after a while it goes further than that as we develop a sense of empathy and understanding that people's perceptions exist outside our own. Even the 10 commandments are still handed down by our culture's elders, and those people are the real driving force.

Aren't the religious priests getting busted for molestation? I wonder how many they haven't caught? Are you implying that since you don't believe in God you go around raping young boys?

    ditto

    and Pass TS. We agree!!!

There have actually been studies done comparing the altruistic behaviour between religious people and non religious people and no difference was found.

But i dont think the original post was disagreeing
