kp's analytical strain study; growers of all strains wanted and welcomed:)

hi everybody:yippee: i've been around the board for a grow now, and i'm becoming more and more interested in the geneological differences of strains.

    ~some background~

i've been growing outside for 7 or 8 years. always bagseed. i'm scared to death of the big brother effect that we call "the government" so i've never ever oredered anything online, nor have i ever given my true name or address. for this reason, i've never had "good" seeds. anything i've grown has turned out decent, but nothing like my first kb experience (nl, ohhhh so amazing) or any other after (yukon gold, strawberry, blueberry, and a few i couldn't confirm)

so... i recently obtained seeds from an ex. he is in the know with a grower, and i ended up with a mixed blend of trainwreck and blueberry. with these "high dollar" seeds, i decided to go inside:thumbsup:

i'm nearing the end of my first indoor grow, and getting ready to do some remodeling for an easy access perpetual.

    ~intermediary note~
anything i say is fictional. if i did do any of this stuff, i wouldn't be putting it here. if i was taking part in illegal activities, it would be strictly for my medical needs, and nothing else. completely personal.

i found another friend who'll hopefully be expanding my strain line, but i don't know what he has in mind. my goal is to obtain a collection of exotics, to rotate in and out. i produce my own seeds, so reproduction is no prob, i just have to work on building an initial collection.

so anyway, i have decided to start a thread on the many different strains, examples, descriptions, tips, effects, favorites, wish lists, new breeds, ......

basically, i want to make a strain enclyclopedia thread that is based on your personal experience, rather than textbook explanations.

i hope everyone enjoys and that we get a lot of participation

    until we meet again,

    love, kp

Hey silly goose, you think that I would forget about you? Right now it is the holiday season and I have folks that I am trying to make things special for this time of year so try not to be so hard on me. Since you have got a handle on so many things you don't have as nearly as many questions so I just stop in and go over your threads and say hy, but know that I am still your darling Bear.
So don't be too quick to give my afections away to the next passer by. I would try to get to know you even better, but time and relations don't permit, but I am still as good as a partner as the old World Wide Web will allow.
I will check back in later. I think Stinky could contribute about 150 smoke reports to this thread. She seems to grow out more flavers than Basken Robins.

Bear hugs from your Blue Adieu

    ~BLUEBERRY~

ok, here's some generalizations i've made about this strain. i performed several experiments throughout the grow, so i'll only go over what was shared amongst all plants.

germed easily, all within 24 hours. broke dirt 24 hours after potting.
all showed deformations between weeks 1 and 3, leaves were curly and abstract. all showed signs of nute burn before they got their first feeding. i think this is a norm for bb, as i've seen several threads of people trying to figure out why their leaves had yellow spots, when everything was balanced and no nutes. respondes well to topping.

they all responded well to their first feeding, showed a passion for n and k.

    ~description before flower~
plants are extremely lush, with huge fan leaves. blueish tint and purple/red stems. short and bushy.

    ~description during flower~
all (3) still have blueish hue, nodes are tight with leaves that block the light from the bud. extremely compact. late bloomers, took two weeks to show.
fat white fluffy pistils, tops look like umbrellas. after topping, all lateral branches stretched out, 20 cola's per plant. good producer when topped.

i'll be posting another bb description in a few weeks, as i watch these finish out.
