well a 1000W (hps or MH) is very hot for little guys. How far away do you have it. you should have it at least 2 ft away. The heat causes them to loose water quickly.

What are you temps like? Try to keep below 80 F. dont worry if you cant. I cant seem to most of the time. But dont let it get above 85.

a good idea might be to move the light far away and mist them. Then move the light back close when the waters gone off the leafs. you dont want to burn the leaf. Make sure the mist is very fine, no beading.

You can also try to increase the humidity of your room. HAve a few buckets of water around. it all helps. It seems to me that they are just drying out. No worries it happends. But they can die very easily when they are so young.

you should have your lights on 18/6. IMO
What i do, is give them a small amount of water several times a day. And i only water were i know the roots are. ie the rock wool.

Pictures help

I have the lights on pretty much 24 hours a day. My temps are fine, never gets above 85. I keep the lamp about a foot and a half away from them, it was three feet away but I lowered it a bit. The soil is still moist, how can they be drying out? I did make the mistake of transplanting with the rock wool a bit too close to the surface of the soil, however I really think I have a bigger problem than drying out. Phospherus maybe? The stem is a bit purple, worrying me...thanks for the help[
razzapiggy Reviewed by razzapiggy on . Help, sort of urgent! Plants are about two weeks old, under a 1000 watt HID right now. They were originally in soil when I got em about a week ago, and I put them into my Sunshine #4 in some start pots. They had no transplant shock at all, unless it was somehow delayed. Today, they look a tad droopy to me. I have watered them when the soil 2-3 inches down was completely dry, so my problem is def. not over-watering. I am getting another 30-35 clones later today, so I would like to diagnose this real quick and get rid Rating: 5
