Help, sort of urgent!
the plant dries out, not the soil
this happens when the rate of transpiration (loss of water from leafs)
exceeds the rate of absorption by the roots.
so they loose water faster than they can suck it up. Because there root system isn't big enough.
so you can do a bunch of things to lower the rate of transpiration. I listed them above
