    Deficiency Eating Plant!!!!

This is a deficiency, I think, and I wont go away.

My nutes should cover everything and the pH is good. So I donā??t really know whats up.

The only problem I can think of is that I donā??t feed them enough. I usually give them around half strength ferts and maybe itā??s not enough.

Iā??ve treated them for Mg, by spraying the leafs with diluted Epsom salts.
I might have made a mistake here, as I read more about it and I think I am supposto water them with Epsom salts for a week after to treat. So Maybe I didnā??t treat it enough?

Any thoughts? there are two plants here, similar symptoms

If you say PH is good then I would go ahead and bump up the nutes. Once growth starts to take off don't restrain them by holding back on the nutes. You should be giving them as much as they can handle.

thanks, that is what i'm thinking

When i had these two girls in smaller pots. I was giving them near full strength nutes every watering. As they were growing so fast. They they started to get some over nute symptoms, so i cut back. Now i'm kickin it up a knotch again.

thanks. i'll post a update if they look better.

does yellowing ever go back to green?

once a leaf turns yellow it will usually just dry up and fall off even if you have corrected the problem and it isn't affecting anymore leaves the ones that are dead will not show any improvment.

Have your plants looked any better since adding more nutes? I've had plants that looked like that before.

That actually looks like you're beginning to over fert...

the yellow/brown tips are a sure fire sign of nute max out.

Remember that fan leaves will be lost normall throughout the entire grow. Especially into flowering....it's pretty normal and you'll probably lose a good 40% of the major fan leaves by the time you've harvested...this is why we tell people to refrain from pruning fan leaves...as they come off once they've served their purpose anyway.

You don't need to add more nute..

the burn along the leaf margins is old. As it dosn't go away it's been there for a month or so. I think i mentioned that i had them on hard nutes and then noticed burning. (thats it) I have already given them a bunch of nutes, now onto flowering nutes. and it really slowed the disorder.

See i dont think it could be burn because i nuted my plant say a week ago. It was chilling out, then one day i wake up BANG! this is what it looks like.
that owuld be like delayed nute burn.

BOB i should have followed your advice. i nuted and the leafs kept dropping. i think you were right. so we gave them a flush and some 1/4 strength fish emulsion. and todya the yellowing has stoped progressing.

i think it has alredy lost 20% of the big fan leafs

but it does have some nice buds forming now

cnat post pics for some reason so ya'll have to wait now

    Hi Harris,
I saw you said you were spraying epsom salts, but that yyou thought you should use them in the water instead... if you suspect a lockout, it is much safer to foliar feed them.
Fish emulsion is a real nice treat for a flowering plant if you mix it REALLLLLLLY weak. I personally put some in the soil mix when I repot.

Well i dont suspect lockout. As I ran a bunch of pHed water through the soil. The water that drained out was very clear (little bit coloured yellow) but nothing like what i've had b4 when i've had lock outs/salt buildup

    the pH is also 6.3,

were you able to check out the pics on myspace?
