any1 ever had pure white weed?

i just looked through a thread bout a white cannabis plant..
well thinking about it.. a while back now.. b4 i was even growing my own weed... i got this quarter from a dealer round my bit.. it was completly white the whole bud .. very heavy buds too.. even tho dry.the buds looked like mini sausages n rock hard... i cant remember the taste or smel as it was so long ago.. but i remember loving it..any1 had this kinda weed b4??

A pure white plant is an impossibility! It has no chlorophyll and cannot produce sugars (food) for the plant. However, a bud mutation (a change affecting a branch, rather than the whole plant) could produce a pure white bud on a varigated(white and green) branch. The rest of the plant, being normally colored, could provide enough food for the branch to survive. That is the ONLY way, short of giving an albino plant constant transfusions of normal sap (nearly impossible), to get a pure white bud. As to the strain- your guess is as good as mine!

It was probably so covered in trichomes that it looked white.
Possibly if it was cured long enough some of the chlorophyll broke down, too.
I've seen some pale nugs before, but not white white.
