Ok all, last night I went to see my parents, and I guess I smelled like MJ.(Im 20 BTW) So they questioned me about it and I said "yes, I do use marijuana and I dont believe its wrong, and I am not sorry for doing so." Well my mother is a very closed minded judgmental person. And im not saying that to be mean, its the truth. I swear I couldnt get a word in about the drug, anything I started to say was soon interupted with "It's a gateway drug, it will make you do more drugs..." I tried explaining the benefits of the drug and she just shook her head and walked away. I told her that this was understandable behavior from her, as most of Americans are misinformed about cannabis. She says its just the drug talking and that im addicted and she is going to get me "medical help."She says she is right though because she grew up in the 60's, but never smoked. I still cant understand why that makes her right. But anyways I wake up this morning and check my email and she sends me this information about how cannabis is a terrible thing and destroys lives. The information was absolutely ridiculous. I wanted to ask you all for information regarding the benefits and myths of marijuana use. I have already found some information to show her, but the more the better. So if you have any links please post them in this thread. Thanks all:thumbsup:
